Craig Kelly, Dine’ (Navajo)
Craig Kelly was born in Gallup, New Mexico in 1983. Kelly works predominantly in the medium of traditional beadwork and metals. Kelly completed a BFA with distinction at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM in 2008. Upon completion of his BFA, he was awarded the Windgate Fellowship from the Center for Craft Creativity and Design in 2008 for his portfolio in metal smithing. Kelly is an active participant in the Santa Fe Indian Market and Heard Museum Guild’s Indian Art Market, among others. He is featured in the permanent collections of both the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum and the Heard Museum Guild. Kelly is currently living and working in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
